How Is Telecom Relay Classified?

Jun. 18, 2019

As an Industrial Relay Factory, let's share with you what the classification of Telecom Relay is.

1. Sort by action principle

The electromagnetic relay drives the armature and the movable part through the suction generated by the current in the relay coil to change the working state of the contact system. Such as DC electrodeless relay, DC pole relay, AC relay, binary differential relay and so on.

The inductive relay operates by utilizing an alternating magnetic field and another alternating magnetic field to create an eddy current interaction in the wings of the movable portion of the relay. Such as AC binary two-position relay.

The thermal relay current heats the bimetal, and the bimetal has a one-way bending weakness, and the relay operates with this characteristic.

2. Classified by operating current

DC relays operate in DC circuits, and most of the Telecom Relays are of this type.

The AC relay works in an AC circuit, such as an AC filament conversion relay, an FD type electric code generator, a JRJC type binary two-position relay, and a rectifier relay.

AC and DC relays can be used in AC and DC circuits, such as general-purpose relays and various thermal relays.

3. Sort by action speed

The quick action armature armature action time is less than 0.1s. Most signal relays fall within this range.

The normal action relay armature action time is 0.1~0.3s. Most signal relays fall within this range.

The armature action time of the slow-acting relay exceeds 0.3s. Such as the infinitely slow release relay, thermal relay, safety semiconductor time relay.
